TRANS

TRANS

Every day you will cross paths with several transexuals without realising it. You do not need to know it, nor do they need to tell you. They were simply born with a biological sex that they do not feel identified with. They are not ill, although they suffer because society limits them for not being “normal”. But they do not deceive themselves, they develop their identity the way they wish to and fight so that their lives do not  become a never-ending stage play.

Trans is a portrait of my transexual friends. An intimate glance at various people that I admire because they fight, in an honest way, to be themselves each day. Like any “normal” person.

*Trans is the term that they use colloquially to refer to transexual people.
